The Journey So Far
I was brought up in a small town in Odisha called Dhenkanal, though quite small it holds a big place in my heart, I have spent about the first 18 years of my life there. My parents still live there but they are also planning to leave after 2 years when my father retire.
Growing up I have had a lot of friends and a good childhood that I have fond memories of, some of those friends I am still in contacts with while some very precious ones are now people I will probably never see again.
This part always fills me with sorrow, people say its a small world but it fills pretty big to me. There are like 8 billion of our species right now so I you and all will see other people make new friends and forget the old then after some years forget the people we have right now in the present.
Some phases of life have been good some have been bad but whenever I look back I cant point out the bad ones from the good ones they all just feel equally happy. Times where when I wanted to be a Taekwondo Black Belt Dan 8 (I left the day I got my Dan 1, idk maybe my motivation wasn't true at that time), then at some point I wanted to be a Game developer, at some point I wanted to be a 6 feet 6 packs 6 figures guy by age 18 (I got neither btw I turned 18 this Jan).
I have no idea where these dreams came and went by, I dont feel bad that I didnt do any of these though, I mean it would have been good to have 6 figures by now but it would be just as good when I get there in the future (ofcourse its value would be less due to inflation i know).
Currently I am doing my bachelors at IISER Pune (a decent science college in our nation if i say so myself), First year already went by I had a crazy GPA drop in the 2nd sem due to my own negligence, I missed quite a lot of opportunities.
But now instead of whinning about all of it I want to focus up on what the future has to say. I should do whatever I feel like doing and see where the road leads to (thats exactly how I ended up making this site and this blog btw on a random summer weekend).
I have defined my life purpose is to find out answers to Humanity's innate questions like:
--- Why does the universe exist?
--- Why we exist?
--- What or who is god if he exists?
Now I am quite aware the probability of me finding these are next to none but the probability of me dying with regret if I dont even try is like 100%.
So I will keep on doing what am doing.
Thanks for reading this btw!
